Wednesday; Critique me

I like this photo because I love this dog and hes really cute. I mostly like it because I think it has good lighting and I like how the light puts a "high light" around his body.

    I do like the lighting, and the angel that hes facing makes it mysterious. What is he looking at? Why are his ears perked up?
